Men's soccer shines on national level

No. 5 Bristol Community College men’s soccer team climbed the NJCAA Division III Poll for the third consecutive week. 

BCC men's soccer athletes have climbed to the top of the individual scoring rankings as well. Jason Couto, former national player of the week, leads the country in goals scored and overall points. Couto has scored 25 goals and one assist in ten games. Kyle Lopes is currently the national leader in assists, recording 13 in ten games.

The Bristol Bees entered the poll on September 24, ranked No. 12. They climbed last week to No. 7. Teams are ranked based on voting done by coaches from eight regions across the country. Complete historical statistics and polls can be found at www.njcaa.org.
