New articulation agreement ensures BCC culinary arts students transfer credit
Bristol Community College (BCC) has completed a Culinary Arts articulation agreement with the New England Culinary Institute (NECI) in Vermont. The agreement allows students complete transfer of credits from the BCC Culinary Arts program toward a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts or Hotel and Restaurant Management at NECI.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to expand their horizons at a four-year institution,” said John Caressimo, director of the Culinary Arts program at BCC.
All BCC students in the program can take advantage of this agreement, while students with a 3.0 GPA or greater in their program of study, and a minimum 2.0 overall GPA are eligible to receive a scholarship award for up to $2,000.
The Culinary Arts articulation agreement with NECI adds to list of Culinary Arts articulation agreements that BCC holds with other four-year institutions, including Johnson and Wales University, Newbury College, and Paul Smith’s College.
