Advisement Center

The Advisement Center assists students in planning a strategy for achieving their career and academic goals. We guide students through the academic experience at BCC from the time they first enter the College until their final semester, and help them align their academic and career pursuits. 
 
Starting at BCC
 
Upon entering BCC, all students are required to take the Accuplacer Placement Test. After completing the test, advisors will be available to help interpret your placement scores. They then will work with you to decide which BCC program of study best fits your goals, plan your semester schedule and register for the appropriate courses.

Advisors also provide information about important resources at BCC and careers associated with BCC programs of study. (If you need assisting with a job search; please contact Career Placement Services x.2231.)

Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Fridays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
